Every Child Deserves to Feel Good About Their Hair.

MII-SIGNATURES Cares is a community initiative designed to support racialized, biracial, and underserved children and families by providing access to quality hair-care products, education, and confidence-building resources. Every child — regardless of background — deserves to love and care for their hair with the right tools and knowledge.

Transparency Promise: 100% of donations go directly toward purchasing and distributing hair care kits and styling support to children in our community through the MII-Signatures Cares program. We are committed to being open about how every dollar is used.

What's in a Hair Care Kit?

Each kit includes essential products and tools for healthy, manageable hair — thoughtfully curated for a range of textures including coily, curly, wavy, and mixed-texture hair:

Moisturizing shampoo
Conditioner & leave-in conditioner
Detangling product & brush
Hair moisturizer & scalp oil
Wide-tooth comb
Satin bonnet or pillowcase
Hair ties & accessories
Simple hair-care guide

Kits may vary based on age, hair type, and availability.

Educational workshops for parents and children on proper hair care, scalp health, and styling tips — including guidance for biracial children with mixed-texture hair.

🤝 Kids Not Left Behind

Sponsored hairstyles for children in need, in partnership with local braiders and hairstylists.

🎒 Back-to-School Hair Care Drive

Annual campaign providing kits, accessories, and educational resources before the school year.

✨ Beauty Confidence Days

Community events with hair-care demos, product education, and fun activities for children and families of all backgrounds.
